DIY Heart-Shaped Yarn Basket Tutorial
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, lovers everywhere begin the quest for that perfect gift. What they don't realize is that you could show someone you care more with a DIY project, than an item you bought in the store. It's amazing what you can do with some yarn, a piece of cardboard, some folding and wrapping skills. The shape of your handmade object should (obviously!) be a heart. The upside of doing this instead of searching for a piece of jewelry or other expensive accessory, is that you show your loved one they are worth the time and effort to make this nice looking basket from scratch. The workload takes about an hour, but the results are impressive. You can gift it filled with chocolates or candy to sweeten up the day.
