carefully.
For the Muffins, grab:
- two cups of flour;
- two tablespoons of poppy seeds;
- one and a quarter teaspoon of baking powder;
- a quarter of a teaspoon of baking soda;
- half a teaspoon of salt;
- a stick of unsalted softened butter;
- a cup of sugar;
- two large eggs;
- the zest from a lemon;
- a teaspoon of vanilla extract;
- a cup of vanilla yogurt;
Start with preheating the oven
to 350 degrees F while you mix the flour with poppy seeds, and the indicated
amount of baking powder and soda in a medium sized bowl. Add the salt as well.
Then, put the cream with the butter in a mixing bowl and mix them with the
sugar. Do this until you obtain a fluffy composition. Take the eggs and beat
them in the mixture. Don't forget to add the vanilla extract and lemon zest.
Using a mixer, add the contents of the (first) medium bowl in the last bowl,
emptying the contents of the cup of yogurt in this process. You want to end up
with a smooth composition. Now, pour into each muffin of the pan filling about
2/3 of each slot. Put to bake for 20 minutes and let it cool for a little while
before glazing.
